Two day trip to beach

Put Vielle-Saint Girons into Satnav.  It says 145 miles taking 3 hours from Chateau Du Sap.

Going out of Vielle-Saint Girons, turn left D328 to Pichelebe (not to the road to the main plage just before).

Drive 3.6 miles through pine forest, past Arnu Natu Club turn right (poorly) signposted to La Lette Blanche which 0.4 miles down that lane.

Beautiful, long, clean beach, with lifeguard but no beach bars - textiles to the left, as you were to the right.

The main Vielle-Saint Girons plage has restaurants if you want to drive back there.

For a hotel, try l'Hotel du Lac, 2 rue des Berges du Lac, 40550 Leon.  Tel 0033 558 48 73 11  room 5 overlooks lake and costs about 58 Euros.  The hotel is about 6 miles from the beach.
